Deal with difficult emotions
6 steps to deal with my difficult emotions:
- Be aware of my emotion and identify where I sense it in my body
- I verbally say my emotion to myself “this is anxiety”
- I acknowledge and accept that it is there
- Even if my emotion is overwhelming, I remember that it will pass (
- I ask myself, What triggered me? Why do I feel this way?
I be open to the outcome of my emotions and what it unfolds
